Asa is an active member of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR), the North Carolina REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, where he has served on multiple committees. Asa is a RRAR Past-President and was named the 2016 RRAR REALTOR® of the Year. Asa served as the 2019 President of NC REALTORS® (NCR) and was recognized as the 2020 NCR REALTOR® of the Year. Asa was honored to be a member of the 2014 National Association Of REALTORS® (NAR) Leadership Academy class and served as the 2017 Chair of the NAR Leadership Academy Advisory Group. He has served on multiple NAR committees and served as the NAR 2021 REALTOR® Party Community Engagement Liaison and on the 2023 NAR Region 4 RPAC Disbursements Committee. He is currently serving as the 2024 REALTOR® Party Disbursement Liaison.

Asa earned his Master’s in Real Estate (MRE) in 2019 from REALTOR® University/Columbia College. He is also active in several local organizations including The Carying Place, Southeast Raleigh Promise, and Central Wake High School, which is a charter school for dropout prevention. Additionally, Asa has served on the Wake County Planning Board since 2016 and served as Chair in 2022.
