Real Estate is truly my passion and calling and I feel blessed to be in a profession I love so much! I’ve been in Real Estate for over 17 years and am a born native to Kansas City. I’m licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and serve Sellers and Buyers all over the Greater Kansas City area. I am a Christian and believe in serving my clients best interests both ethically and with the utmost integrity. I have been told my honesty is a breath of fresh air. My sense of humor is off the charts. ? I am a proud fan of our Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. In 1988, I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. I have two daughters, Amber and Nicole who are very special to me. I'm also a Nana with 8 wonderful grandchildren, one of which, is Nicolette. She lives with me, is 5 years old with multiple disabilities and is a tremendous blessing to everyone she encounters. She is the reason I am a huge supporter of organizations working with Special Needs Children. I am an active volunteer for CASA which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. CASA provides legal representation to abused and neglected children. My role as a volunteer is to visit and work with the families that are caring for these children while in custody of the state and then speak for the best interests of these children in court. I am also instrumental in the process to find them a safe and permanent home. My philosophy in Real Estate is to be a Consultant and educate my clients during their selling or buying experience. Real Estate is our largest investment and for that reason I don’t take the process lightly. Selling and buying homes is not something we do every day, so I feel it’s important to share what clients need to hear and not what they want to hear. That way they are making an educated decision. I don't believe in high-pressure sales tactics to gain clients, but you can count on me to be a bulldog when you are my client. My knowledge of the Greater Kansas City neighborhoods and communities is rather extensive. I have sold homes all over the Greater Metropolitan Kansas City area and in the following counties: Clay, Platte and Jackson County, Missouri and Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte County, Kansas. I have listed and sold homes ranging under a $100,000 to the millions. I work diligently to develop long-term relationship with my clients and this has been paramount to my success. Referrals are a significant part of my business and I am humbled and grateful for each one I am given. My specialties are selling homes as a Listing Specialist and working with First Time Home Buyers, Millennials and Military Home buyers. I have extensive experience and knowledge with Foreclosures and other distressed properties such as Short Sales, Probate, and Estate homes. I am well versed on loan requirements for FHA, VA, or USDA loans. I’m also able to provide an estimate on repairs so the buyer knows what they are facing. Many buyers today are looking for a good deal and are willing to fix the home up themselves. I feel blessed to receive highly recognized awards over my career in Real Estate. The first of these is the FIVE STAR Real Estate Agent Award, which is given to the top 6% of agents in the Greater Kansas City Area. I have received this award for 7 years in a row or since 2011. The second is the Expert Network ‘s Distinguished Real Estate Designation© Award which I received this in 2017. This award is only presented to the Top 3% of Realtors®/Brokers in the nation. Both awards are given for exceptional customer service, experience, knowledge, and reputation. Then I have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence by Broker★Agent™ Advisor in both 2016 & 2017. This award identifies and distinguishes the best in real estate based on achievement, potential, leadership, ethics, community value, experience, capability, and trust. These awards are a true testimony and authenticate the level of service I provide all my clients.
